Technical Requirements for SnapVSS Vendor Self Service Solution:
Security Setup:
- SnapVSS server resides within your firewall or DMZ
- Two levels of security for SnapVSS server login – User ID and Password
SnapVSS Hardware and Software Setup:
- Windows 2000 or 2003 Server
- SQL Server 2000 or 2005
- IIS – Internet Information Server (Microsoft’s Web Server – comes installed with Windows 2003)
- SMTP – Mail Transfer Protocol
