IBM Co-Located Servers, Military-Standard Security
Our state of the art data centers are Co-located with IBM. IBM provides 24-hour server surveillance as well as a tough security infrastructure. The security is compliant with military, as well as banking and financial industry, security standards. One must do the following to get to the servers:

In order to enter the data center, an authorized user must call IBM in advance to open a ticket. This includes providing information such as the service code, an authorization PIN number, and specifying the location, time, and length of time to be visited. IBM then issues a ticket and allows the authorized user access to the data center for a specified time limit. After the time limit expires, IBM terminates all access.

Before gaining physical access into the IBM Data Center or server lockers, a person must provide verification of being an authorized user. He/she must present State or Federal picture identification. The user must also get his/her palm scanned through a biometric scanner and enter a secret PIN code six times in different areas of the IBM office. The ID, palm scan, and secret PIN number must all match the previous otherwise the user cannot enter.

Once inside the data center, the authorized user only has access to his/her server locker. In order to unlock the server locker, the authorized user must open an electro magnetic lock and enter another secret PIN code.
